THIEVES made off with £2,450 worth of jewellery after a burglary in Barnstaple last week.
Police believe the window of Cooper's Jewellers on Boutport Street was smashed with a scaffold pole around 4am on Thursday, January 5.
The thieves made off with a 9ct gold charm bracelet, 18ct diamond drops, an Edwardian opal and diamond 18ct cluster, an 18ct Sapphire and diamond bar and an 18ct Edwardian diamond ring.
Store owner David Bruce said: "This is the second burglary we've had in less than a year.
"We are always very careful to remove any expensive items from the shop at night times.
