Former Chicago Bear Willie Gault’s Super Bowl ring was reportedly stolen from his Los Angeles home.
Gault’s home was burglarized Wednesday, TMZ reported. The thieves took over $100,000 worth of jewelry, including the Super Bowl XX ring, which is loaded with 40 diamonds, including a half-karat diamond in the center.
Gault was a receiver on the Bears’ 1985 Super Bowl-winning team. An Olympic-caliber track star at the University of Tennessee, he was drafted by the Bears in 1983. He had an 11-year career in the NFL with the Bears and the then-Los Angeles Raiders.
