Christie's New York will host its “Important Jewels” sale on June 14, 2011, in Manhattan, which will feature 120 items, ranging from $2,000 to $3.5 million. The sale is expected to top $8 million.
The top lot is a 46.51-carat, D, oval-cut diamond ring, which carries a presale estimate of $2.5 million to $3.5 million. Other notable items include a 10-carat, D, pear-shaped diamond valued at $1.1 million to $1.5 million, and a yellow diamond ear pendant set with yellow diamonds and mounted in platinum and gold and a presale estimate of $600,000 to $800,000.
