While they say diamonds are a girl's best friend, many a woman would argue that a pair of designer shoes come a very close second.
But lucky supermodel Anja Rubik had the best of both worlds last night when she walked the red carpet at Cannes in a dazzling pair of shoes dripping with precious gems.
A collaboration between Giuseppe Zanotti and Chopard, the pink satin heels boasted 22 carats of diamonds, 199 carats of pink sapphires and 134 carats of rubellites all strung on rose gold chains.
