Robert Pattinson Gives Kristen Stewart A Diamond Ring

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are just finishing up filming Breaking Dawn in Canada, R-Patz has the new flick Water for Elephants, and K-Stew recently celebrated her 21st birthday (where she received a motorcycle from Pattinson and the cast!). The Twilight couple has certainly hit some major milestones with both their professional careers and personal lives.

Now, it looks like their relationship is also getting a boost - one of the diamond variety. Pattinson bought a "promise ring" for Stewart! The sparkler has rose-cut diamonds set in rose gold. "It's a very feminine piece of jewelry and very old," said an insider.

Apparently, the $17,000 ring was bought by the Twilight heartthrob through a contact who specializes in estate jewelry, which is pretty cool. However, "it doesn't look like an engagement ring," emphasized the insider.

But, from the looks of things, an engagement ring could be right around the corner. Is Robert Pattinson getting ready to pop the question?
