Elizabeth Taylors Jewels To Star In Christie's Auctions

Legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor who died recently at the age of 79 will hog the limelight in the coming months as her jewel and garments collections come up for auction at Christie's auction house. Value of her collection of art, jewels, dresses and memorabilia are yet to be determined, according to Christie's. Among the upcoming auction events to be keenly watched apart from Liz Taylors collection is the May 18 Spring Geneva auctiona and April 20th sale of Jewels at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai.

On May 18, Christie's will conduct the Spring Geneva auctions, the most important jewellery event in Europe. Jean-Marc Lunel, Head of the Jewellery Department, comments: “The Geneva spring sale at Christie's is one of the most appealing selections of jewels and gem stones seen in recent years.
