Diamond Necklace Stolen In Jewellery Con

A £2,000 diamond and ruby necklace has been stolen from a 74-year-old woman waiting at a bus stop in Surrey.

She was approached by two women in London Road, Camberley, on Sunday.

One tried wrapping a gold chain around her wrist and put a ring on her finger, while the other placed a cheap-looking, gold coloured chain around her neck.

They asked for money but she refused. After fiddling with the items the women left saying she could keep them, and later she found her necklace had gone.
