The Guinness Book of World Records has named the "1001 Nights Diamond Purse" the world's most expensive handbag. (via MSNBC)
The diamond-encrusted purse, valued at just under $4 million, was on display at the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition two weekends ago, where its soaring price tag set the record for the world's most expensive handbag. Ten artisans put in 1,1000 hours of work over four months to create the heart-shaped bag, which is made of 4,517 diamonds.
