Christies 56.15 Carat Diamond

One of the auction lots at Christie's Magnificent Jewels sale in Geneva will be an unmounted 56.15 carat heart- shaped D color, internally flawless diamond, which the auction house believes is one of the noteworthy heart-shaped diamonds offered in an auction in the last 15 years.

The diamond’s spectacular characteristics of carat weight, clarity, color, and perfection in its cut make it a unique stone. Its sale price is estimated between $9 million and $12 million. There have been only a small quantum of heartshaped diamonds of over 50 carats with perfect cut and polish, that have been offered in auction in 20 years.
