25K Diamond Ring Found

A day on the job ended with the discovery of an expensive diamond at Pittsburgh International Airport.
Janet Mascuero lost her $25,000 ring Sunday before boarding a plane back to Oakley, Utah. Later that night custodian, Jim Beatty came across the ring while cleaning in the D concourse. He said he wasn't sure if the ring was just costume jewelry or the real thing, but he turned it in anyway.
“At the end of the day, we all go down to the apron level to turn in our equipment at the office, and I just showed it to a supervisor,” said Beatty. “He thought it might be worth something and decided we should turn it in, and that's what we did."
