Diamond-Class Luxury Still Affordable With Diamond Stud Earrings

Diamond-Class Luxury Still Affordable With Diamond Stud Earrings

Published on 04/12/09

Diamond demand and prices recently began climbing again after their largest fall in decades, with the global financial crisis affecting the industry of luxury. However Diamond Connoisseurs, a UK diamond jewellery portal believes that economic woes are no reason to go without diamonds. A new range of affordable stud earrings can be found through the UK portal.

Oxfordshire, England , 03 December, 2009 – As the economic crisis seems to be coming to an end worldwide, people are still relatively cautious about their spending. However, an uncertain global outlook is no reason to forgo luxury, according to Diamond Connoisseurs, a UK diamond jewellery buying portal.

"We believe that self-confidence and the ability not to dwell on the current woes are the real key out of the crisis", said a spokesperson for the company.

"We are advising people to continue to treat themselves, but perhaps in different ways than before. Diamond stud earrings (http://www.diamondconnoisseurs.co.uk/earrings/diamond-stud-earrings-details/) represent excellent value in diamond jewellery. Most women get an enormous number of wear-hours out of them, and they are low-priced for great quality compared to other pieces", Diamond Connoisseurs continued.

The diamond stud earring portal recommended several stores as 'recession-busters' in particular, including:
• H. Samuel
• Coloured Rocks
• The Diamond Store
• Ernest Jones

"Some of our other stores, F. Hinds and Goldsmiths in particular, have some really significant savings, but higher prices even after discounting", said the spokesperson.

Coloured Rocks have some of the most impressive specials on diamond stud earrings, including a large range of simple single stones on 9ct yellow or white gold at 64% off the recommended retail price.

H. Samuel is well known as a discount jeweller in the UK, and currently has just under 30 pairs of diamond stud earrings in their range, at less than £300. At the moment, there are several pairs of diamond studs reduced from £200 to £130, a saving of 35% off the usual ticket price.

Ernest Jones has the highest priced diamond stud earrings on special, but also the biggest possible savings. The single pair currently on sale cost £955, a saving of £320 off the usual price of £1275.
