Dash To City Landmarks In Hopes Of Bling

Hundreds of bling seekers will converge on downtown Springfield Oct. 10 in search of answers to clues that will result in a $10,000 diamond ring prize, according to a news release.

The event begins at 10 a.m. at the East Plaza Amphitheater at Jordan Valley Park and concludes with a celebration at 2:30 p.m. at Justice Jewelers, 3520 E. Battlefield in Springfield.

Teams of two will receive clues and riddles via text message directing them to local landmarks, where they will answer specific questions and score points toward winning the diamond ring.

Any mode of transportation is encouraged except automobiles. Teams are encouraged to be very creative in their participation.

According to Woody Justice of Justice Jewelers, the sponsor of the event, "this is a high-tech event that is sweeping the bridal jewelry industry. As the leader in bridal jewelry in southwest Missouri, Justice Jewelers wanted to be the first to bring this exciting event to the Ozarks."
