A substantial reward has been offered for information about the robbery of a jewellery salesman at a hotel in East Renfrewshire.
The 55-year-old man was attacked by two men in the car park of the Orchard Park Hotel in Giffnock at about 0715 BST on 7 July.
The thieves forced him to the ground and stole his bag containing diamonds worth tens of thousands of pounds.
The person offering the reward has asked to remain anonymous.
The robbers escaped in a dark-coloured car.
They were both described as white, about 45-55 years, approximately 5ft 11in tall, of medium build.
One of the men was wearing a cream-coloured jacket.
Det Con Gary Gallacher, of Giffnock police office, said: "We would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the robbery, or anyone who may have seen two men acting suspiciously in the vicinity of the hotel that morning to contact us."
