De Beers are organising a major diamond exhibition at Christies of unique historical and contemporary jewellery from some of the worlds famous jewellery houses. The public exhibition will run from September 16-23 at Christies, 8 King Street, London SW1.
With several important diamond pieces from the earlier part of the 20th century the collection will be brought up to the 90s with simple modern pieces suitable for todays lifestyle. Modern women choose diamond jewellery for its beauty and how it complements their personality, image and lifestyle.
In fact the minimal diamond look is as popular today as before, resurfacing most recently on the style icons of this decade, the Supermodels. Naomi Campbell has been know to drape her Diamonds by the Yard as a waist chain and Cindy Crawford sports a diamond solitaire necklace.

Boodle & Dunthorne Bulgari
Cartier Chanel Joaillerie
David Morris International Garrard

Mappin & Webb Tiffany & Co
