Movie Stars Dazzle In Diamonds

Movie fans with a passion for sparkling jewellery will have been in their element this week as a lavish event kicked off.

Stars from across the globe made their way to the Cannes Film Festival, with many opting to wear dazzling diamonds.

Pieces created by Chopard dominated the red carpet, with Robin Wright Penn being one of the many familiar faces choosing to team glittering accessories with their outfits.

The actress, who is also a judge on the festival's board this year, appeared wearing white gold diamond drop earrings and a sparkling bracelet.

She was far from alone in her choices, as Shu Qui, another juror for the event, opted for dazzling drop earrings.

Earlier this month, stars such as Agyness Deyn, Jessica Alba and Renee Zelwegger dazzled in diamonds at the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Benefit in New York.

Ms Zelwegger in particular caught the eye as she appeared wearing a sparkling necklace.
