Jewellery Stolen From US Star

US star Rachel Bilson has had items of jewellery stolen during a burglary.

The OC actress had her Los Angeles home broken into, with the thieves getting away with pieces which had been given to her by her grandmother, lovers of gold diamond rings and diamond stud earrings may be interested to hear.

Designer shoes, a television and a Chanel fashion collection were also taken.

A friend of Ms Bilson told People that the celebrity is "devastated".

She added: "They stole all her designer labels - shoes, clothes, bags. She collected a lot of vintage shoes and they took them all. She's also lost all her jewellery."

A representative for the actress told the source that the value of the items runs into hundreds of thousands of dollars.

In related news, a spate of burglaries in the Portsmouth area recently saw several gold diamond rings stolen, the Portsmouth News reported.
