Jewellery Awards Nominees Revealed

The shortlist for a major diamond jewellery awards ceremony has been revealed.

Designers from around Britain dream of being crowed as the best in their field, and one will see their desire come true when the winners of the UK Jewellery Awards 2009 are unveiled in the summer, lovers of gold diamond rings may be interested to hear.

Those behind the event have announced those who are up for the honours, including the Jewellery Designer of the Year gong.

Tom Rucker, Shaun Leane, David Marshall, Alex Monroe and Rodney Rayner will battle it out for this award, while other categories include those for the best jewellery website and the top young designer.

Lovers of platinum diamond rings may also want to look out for the winners in the bridal collection and catwalk jewels sections.

Last month, designer of the year nominee Shaun Leane unveiled his latest diamond collection at a ceremony in London.
