Hamilton Opts For Diamond Headgear

Racing fans will have no problem spotting Lewis Hamilton next weekend, thanks to his choice of glittering headwear.

The reigning Formula 1 world champion will sport a yellow helmet which is covered in diamonds.

A huge number one will be spelled out by the gemstones, lovers of gold diamond rings and diamond necklaces may be interested to hear.

The British driver will wear the helmet for the Monaco Grand Prix, which takes place on May 24th.

More than £200,000's worth of jewels have been used to decorate the headgear, and they were not the only gems on show when Mr Hamilton made a public appearance earlier this week.

The sports star was spotted wearing a dazzling diamond ring while he was relaxing with his songstress girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger.

Earlier this month, Paris Hilton wowed audiences at two glitzy events in as many days as she wore sparkling pieces, including a jewel-encrusted ring and a shimmering headband.
