Diamond Body Unveils Exhibition Plans

The Rapaport Group has unveiled its schedule of events for a major jewellery event.

A programme has been produced for the firm's conference and meetings at the JCK Las Vegas Jewellery Show, lovers of gold diamond rings and diamond drop earrings may be interested to hear.

The group will present several talks during the exhibition, including a Rapaport Breakfast, a software conference and a fair trade show.

Martin Rapaport, chairman of the body, said that the development of strategies to deal with the credit crunch is key to the success of the diamond jewellery sector.

He added: "The diamond industry must recognise that the global economic crisis is creating a new reality that will challenge the fundamental values of our customers and products."

In related news, earlier this week it was revealed that grading specialists ImaGem Aggarwal is set to present at the JCK Cut Grading Conference on May 28th.
