Ten women have received gold diamond rings after winning a competition.
Cairo Amman Bank has handed out the jewel-encrusted bands as part of its Mothers Day initiative, reports ameinfo.com.
The company drew ten names from a pool of participants who regularly used their credit card during a set three-week period.
Anyone lucky enough to have had their name picked at random walked away with a dazzling diamond ring, the source explains.
The bank commented that the campaign was part of the "special relationship" that it has with its customers and in particular was in honour of mothers and all of the work that they contribute to the family unit, according to the news provider.
In other jewellery news, numerous celebrities have been spotted wearing glittering gold and platinum diamond rings in recent weeks.
The latest was Irish actress Amy Huberman, fiance of rugby star Brian O'Driscoll, who was seen wearing a 30,000 euros (£27,000) engagement band.
