A syndicate of 13 women are enjoying the glamour of owning a dazzling diamond necklace after winning a newspaper competition, according to a source.
The friends replied to the Daily Mail's request to hear from people who thought they deserved to share the glittering item, the newspaper reveals.
A group of colleagues, and one former worker, at Chase Community School put their names forward to co-own the 17.5-carat piece, lovers of diamond necklaces may be interested to hear.
The women will now share the dazzling item, with agreements being drawn up for who gets it on which day.
Jillian Hillman, a member of the syndicate, told the source: "The best part of winning this competition is that this is something we can share. I don't think we'll ever fall out over the necklace."
The competition was launched after the news provider serialised the story of a group of women who had shared a similar item in the US, lovers of diamond necklaces may remember.
In the original story it was revealed that the 13 US females shared a £26,000, 15-carat piece.
