Rihanna Makes Diamond Jewellery Request

US police are still in possession of glittering items of jewellery owned by Rihanna, it is claimed.

The officials seized pieces worth $1.4 million (£961,000) from the singer back in February after an altercation at a pre-Grammy show party, in which her partner Chris Brown was arrested, reports the Los Angeles Times.

According to the newspaper, the songstress has requested the items, which were leant to her by jewelers for the music industry event, however she is yet to receive the dazzling pieces, lovers of gold diamond rings and diamond bracelets may be interested to hear.

Donald Etra, the star's attorney, told the source that the authorities still have three rings and a pair of earrings in their possession.

He added: "The investigating officer gave me his opinion that photographs would be sufficient, and the district attorney said to write her a letter and they'd consider returning it."

In other news regarding the police and gemstones, diamonds worth $800,000 (£548,000) were recently seized at JFK Airport after two jewellers were unable to provide the correct documentation for the items.
