Money-conscious Men Could Be 'saving For Diamond Rings'

There are several signs women can look out for when it comes to telling if they are about to receive gold diamond rings, according to a source.

Men let out tell-tale clues in the run-up to proposing, such as a sudden openness to talking about the future, reports the Jamaica Observer.

According to the news provider, a transformation into a jittery, "nervous househusband" is another sure-fire sign that an engagement band could be on the way.

Nights in and a lack of time spent out on the town with his friends is another clue, as is a new found enthusiasm to watch the pennies and save.

"If he has become a scrooge, refusing to spend on luxuries, chances are that he is saving up for something more worthwhile," the source explains.

Earlier this month, jewellery expert Michael O'Connor claimed that gold diamond rings similar to those worn by Hollywood stars can be found at high street prices by those willing to look for them.
