A US judge has brought an end to a dispute over a gold diamond ring, according to a source.
The argument involved Chris Mann and his former fiance Angela Lipsey, centring on who should take ownership of the engagement band that Mr Mann presented to his former partner while they were in a relationship, reports wave3.com.
Judge Mitch Perry ruled in favour of Ms Lipsey, who said that she had been forced to sell the piece due to the cost of leaving her job to move in with her ex-beau, while the cost of deposits on a wedding dress and honeymoon were also noted.
The source reveals that Mr Mann had alleged that he should be paid the $18,000 (£12,361) he had shelled out for the item, lovers of gold diamond rings may be interested to hear.
