Lucky ladies in Swindon can win a diamond ring in a competition following a donation from a local jewellery company.
The diamond ring, which is worth £2,000, has been donated by Deacons to the Swindon Charity Ball, where it will be the main raffle prize, reports the Swindon Advertiser.
It is being showcased by Miss Swindon, Rebecca Cole, while the white gold diamond ring has a solitaire fitting.
Attendees to the charity event will have to wait until midnight to find out who has won the diamond jewellery, with all proceeds from the raffle and the evening going to the NSPCC, Great Ormond Street Hospital, the Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Movement and Young Carers Swindon.
Hadyn Beer, an organiser of the ball, tells the newspaper: "The diamond raffle is one of the main events of the ball. We are grateful to Deacons, who continue to support the event every year."
Ten women have recently won a diamond ring after winning a competition for Mothers' Day, reports AMEInfo.com.
