A woman has been reunited with a jewel-encrusted ring after nearly 20 years, according to a source.
Janice Amos lost the pre-engagement band on Christmas Day 1989, reports the Times Daily.
Ms Amos searched high and low for the item, but presumed it had been lost when her mother-in-law took a box of festival wrapping paper outside to be burnt, lovers of gold diamond rings may be interested to hear.

Ms Amos told the newspaper: "I couldn't believe it. I couldn't wait to see it."
