Stars Shop For Diamond Rings

Some of the top stars in the US have been spotted shopping for gold diamond rings.

John Mayer is reported to be about to spend £2 million on an engagement band for his A-list partner Jennifer Aniston.

The singer has contacted a designer to create a dazzling diamond ring which he will present to the former Friends actress.

A source close to the couple said: "Money is no object for John. He is creating a vintage-style classic ring for Jen. He's looking at [an] 18-carat flawless diamond so he won't get much change from £2 million."

The news provider added that Mr Mayer is hoping the perfect jewel-encrusted item will make it impossible for Ms Aniston to resist walking down the aisle.

Meanwhile, singer Chris Brown has also been shopping for gold diamond rings and is reported to have recently presented Rhianna with a $50,000 (£36,000) band.
