Jewellery Body Launches Website

The World Jewellery Confederation (Cibjo) has launched a new resource in preparation for a major industry event.

A website dedicated to the body's 2009 Congress is now live and gives those that want to attend the exhibition the opportunity to register.

The show will be held in Istanbul between May 3rd and 5th and focuses on the impact that the economic downturn is having on the sector, lovers of gold diamond rings and diamond drop earrings may be interested to hear.

Visitor to the website will not only be able to fill out the necessary paperwork to secure a place at the event, but they can also learn all about where the speakers lined-up to talk at the exhibition and educate themselves on the issues set to be discussed.

In other industry news, earlier this week the International Gemmological Institute revealed that it will have a fully-equipped, working laboratory at the BaselWorld 2009 show.
