Jewels Shine At Awards Show

A smattering of sparkling jewels were on show earlier this week as a major movie ceremony took place.

The stars turned out on their droves for the Directors Guild Awards, with several opting for items such as diamond bracelets and diamond drop earrings to complement their outfits.

According to the Jewelry Insider blog, less is more was very much the attitude of many of the guests, with gemstones used discretely rather than being littered throughout the look of each attendee.

Of those opting for glittering pieces, Amy Adams, who has appeared in films such as Enchanted, The Wedding Date and Sunshine Cleaning, dazzled in diamond drop earrings, the news provider reported.

Marisa Tomei was another choosing an understated look, with a silver bracelet and necklace lighting up her Dior outfit, the source added.

Last month, A-listers such as Kate Winslet, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt wowed audiences with sparkling accessories at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
