A woman who is wanted by police in connection with stealing items such as gold diamond rings is believed to have stolen from a UK jewellers.
The thief, who is sought after throughout Europe, wears a headscarf and gold-rimmed glasses while swiping gemstones.
After initial reports of thefts across the continent, she is now being linked to an incident in which a jewel-encrusted band worth £120,000 was taken from an outlet in London, after a similar-looking individual was seen on CCTV taking the item.
Thanks to her light-fingered escapades across the Channel and throughout Europe, she has been dubbed a "high magician" of crime by those searching for her.
Authorities have claimed she has a Middle Eastern appearance, but they believe this is a disguise and she may be of French origin.
Earlier this month, Leicester crown court told a woman she could face a jail term after being found guilty of the theft and attempting theft of items of jewellery.
