An array of stars braved the icy conditions as they dazzled in diamonds for the latest red carpet event.

The cream of world's thespians descended on London on Sunday (February 8th) to mark one of the most eagerly anticipated dates in the industry's calendar, with many choosing to wear diamond necklaces and diamond rings to the glitzy ceremony.

Kate Winslet was among the A-listers at the Bafta awards, wowing audiences with her combination of a black Zac Posen dress and a jewel-encrusted bracelet and diamond drop earrings as she won the Best Actress gong.

Another high-profile star making the most of glittering accessories was Penelope Cruz, who opted for glittering flower-shaped earrings.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the Atlantic, Jennifer Hudson, Katie Perry and Jay-Z wore pieces such as diamond cuffs, jewel-encrusted bracelets and dazzling necklaces at the equally glamorous Grammy awards ceremony, which was also held on Sunday night.
