Diamonds Dazzle At Oscars

Dazzling diamonds once again were out in force on the red carpet as one of the biggest event's of the year took place.

Stars poured into the Kodak Theatre last night (February 22nd) for the 81st annual Oscars ceremony.

Best actress winner Kate Winslet continued to show her love for diamonds - after opting to wear the gemstones at several recent events - by accessorising her Atelier Yves Saint Laurent dress with diamond bracelets and 28-carat diamond earrings.

Penelope Cruz, who walked away with the best supporting actress prize, also plumped for diamond bracelets, while also wearing jewel-covered earrings and necklaces.

Ann Hathaway also dazzled audiences with a dress which contained sparkling crystals.

Other stars opting for glittering jewels on the red carpet included Angelina Jolie, Taraji Henson and Natalie Portman.

Earlier this month, diamond drop earrings were one of the most popular choices for A-listers appearing at the Grammys.
