A major organisation is set to present a seminar on a range of factors related to the gemstone industry, it has been revealed.
The World Jewellery Confederation will put on the corporate social responsibility (CSR) event in Munich on February 20th.
As part of the seminar, the German market will be introduced to the body's education foundation (WJCEF), which focuses on issues such as consumer confidence and economic development among those involved in the industry, lovers of items such as diamond pendants and platinum diamond rings may be interested to hear.
Gaetano Cavalieri, president of the organisation, commented in the current economic climate the luxury product sector is expected to play its part, by demonstrating an understand of society's requirements.
He added: "WJCEF was created to provide us with [a] CSR framework and plan of action, and I am delighted that we will be able to outline this at Inhorghenta."
