Stars Sparkle In Diamonds

It was not just Michelle Obama who sparkled during her husband's inauguration, a host of stars followed suit by wearing dazzling jewellery.

As an array of parties and balls took place across the US, A-listers turned out in their droves to show their support for their new president.

Rap superstar Jay-Z was spotted at the festivities put on in Los Angeles, as he wore platinum and diamond jewels.

Items such as sparkling earrings and necklaces were also beautifully modelled at the Capitol event, with the likes of Demi Moore, Mariah Carey and Faith Hill opting for such accessories.

Meanwhile, platinum was another big winner, as necklaces, rings and bracelets made with the precious metal shining at every turn.

However, Mrs Obama stole the show as she wore diamond drop earrings and diamond bracelets, which perfectly complemented her James Wu gown at the Washington ball held in honour of her husband.
