Stars Opt For Diamonds For Premiere

Sparkling jewellery lit up the red carpet once again as the stars put on their favourite accessories for the latest movie premiere.

Katie Hudson and Anne Hathaway took centre stage at the first-showing of their new feature Bride Wars, which was held in New York earlier this week.

The pair arrived in bride and groom style, with Ms Hathaway opting for a black trouser suit, while her co-star appeared in an Oscar de la Renta dress.

However, the main talking point was the abundance of glittering jewels on show, with Ms Hudson wearing diamond bracelets.

Despite the best efforts of the film's leads, it was Kristen Johnston who stole the limelight in an "icy diamond necklace", according to the Jewelry Insider blog.

Elsewhere, items such as gold diamond rings and gemstone-covered brooches are among the items on show at the Natural History Museum's Hollywood Jewels exhibition, which is now open.
