The police are calling for anyone who may know anything about a number of jewelry items which have been stolen to come forward.
Among the missing items are an engagement ring containing Tiffany diamonds, diamond pendants and two white gold rings.
The items were taken from a Hoddesdon property on December 15th by burglars who broke into the rear of a house.
Samantha Alcock, a detective constable from the burglary and robbery team at Hoddesdon police station, states that the pieces are "of high value" and says the owners are keen to be reunited with their missing jewels.
"I would strongly encourage people to come forward if they have seen any of the items described, or if they have been offered them for sale," she states.
Ms Alcock continues by stating the police have released a number of images of the items in order to help with tracing them.
Earlier this month, a US resident reported losing a bag of jewels including two diamond rings, as well as a pair of diamond earrings.
