Lessons For Diamond Retailers On Offer

Retailers selling items such as diamond necklaces and diamond drop earrings will have the chance to learn all about the key points of the industry at an event taking place next month.

The Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC) will hold two seminars at the American Gem Trade Association GemFair, which runs between February 4th and 9th in Tucson.

Basics of Memo Transactions and the Dos and Don'ts of Trading on Memo are the titles of the talks which will be given.

Legal issues related to the industry will be discussed during both events, with attendees having the opportunity to learn more about how to safeguard themselves during the economic downturn.

Cecila Gardner, president of the company, commented it is now particularly important for firms to be protected from risks.

She added: "In 2009, JVC will continue to explain how to safeguard your business from liabilities pertaining to the manufacture, sale and advertising of fine jewellery."
