A major body within the gemstone sector has revealed it is set to have a significant presence at a leading event.
The Israeli Diamond Industry (IDI) will feature prominently at the forthcoming Macau Jewelry and Watch Fair, which takes place between January 8th and 11th.
Chinese buyers are thought to be the main target of the show, which takes place at the Cotai Strip Convention and Exhibition Centre, it may interest those with platinum diamond rings to hear.
Moti Ganz, chairman of the IDI and president of the Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association, commented that the event is important to build a relationship with China's jewellery market.
He added: "Through participation in the Macau Fair our companies are showing their commitment to developing business ties with this market."
Mr Ganz went on to say he believes there is "huge potential" in the Chinese diamond market.
