Diamonds On Show At Actors' Event

The stars once again showed their preference for diamonds as they stepped out at the latest red carpet event wearing glittering jewellery.

As the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards took place in Los Angeles, reams of A-listers turned up draped in dazzling pieces.

Kate Winslet was among those in a show-stopping outfit, as she appeared wearing diamond drop earrings, while the likes of Christina Applegate, Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway all also opting for looks which involved jewels dangling from their ears.

Ms Hathway and Ms Winslet also followed suit when it came to other accessories, with both choosing diamond bracelets to complement their outfits.

Gold and platinum diamond rings dazzled at every turn on the red carpet, as the likes of Rosario Dawson, Holly Hunter and Angelina Jolie wore stunning bands on their right hands.

Earlier this month, items such as diamond stud earrings and necklaces were on show at the inauguration balls held in honour of President Barack Obama.
