Two high-profile stars are at the centre of the media spotlight thanks to gold diamond rings.

Former tennis ace Anna Kournikova is rumoured to be ready to marry her beau Enrique Inglesias after the pair were spotted on a romantic walk, with Ms Kournikova wearing what is reported to be an engagement band.

Meanwhile, Vanessa Paradis was clearly not happy with the ring presented to her by Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp, as she has sent the item back.

A source close to the couple said: "Johnny got Vanessa a drop-dead gorgeous engagement band but she returned it to the jeweller. She wants her ring to be absolutely perfect."
