Authorities are searching for the owner of an array of glittering jewels which were found discarded in a garden, according to a source.
Shortly before the festive period, a homeowner in London's Brunswick Park discovered the items near her property, reports times-series.co.uk.
The diamond-covered pieces were handed into the police, but no one has yet claimed the dazzling collection, it may interest owners of gold diamond rings to hear.
Sergeant Simon Dawson, of the area's safer neighbourhood team, told the news provider he believes the jewels were stolen, but then thrown away as their unique designs mean it would be difficult to sell them on.
He added: "Our searches so far have been fruitless but we are determined to find the true owners so that they can be reunited with these extraordinarily beautiful pieces of jewellery."
In other news which may interest owners of platinum diamond rings, a band which is believed to have belonged to Charles Dickens is set to go up for auction next month, it was recently revealed.
