The finalists for a major jewellery competition have been revealed.
Artists chosen for the HRD Awards were this week released, after 1098 designers were submitted by 654 individuals from around the world.
The contest was organised in part by the Antwerp World Diamond Centre as a way for young up-and-coming designers to gain a platform to showcase their work.
Of the hundreds of entrants, 39 from 17 different nations have been chosen by the judges, it may interest owners of items such as gold diamond rings and diamond drop earrings to learn.
China is highly represented within the awards, with no less than 14 participants from the country being chosen, while those from France, Hungary, Belgium and the US are also among those picked.
Meanwhile, the judge for a competition which has been launched by the Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies' event, in conjunction with the Israel Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labour and the Israel Jewelry Manufacturers Association, will end on March 1st.
