Diamonds Sparkle At Latest Event

Diamonds were once again the order of the day for high-profile celebrities at a major industry event, according to a source.

Items such as diamond bracelets, diamond cuffs and diamond drop earrings were among the sparkling pieces on show at the Kennedy Center Honors, which were held earlier this week, reports the Jewelry Insider blog.

According to the news provider, singer Beyonce Knowles stole the show in the fashion stakes with an understated accessory look which included black gemstone clips.

Meanwhile, actress Queen Latifah opted for a more dazzling choice, wearing an array of jewels, including those found in a "stunning diamond and pearl Y-necklace and matching diamond cuff", the source adds.

In other recent red carpet jewellery news, Hollywood actresses Jessica Alba and Demi Moore have both appeared at star-studded events wearing gemstone-encrusted items, with the latter confessing her love for diamonds at the premiere for her new movie.
