Coleen Rooney Receives Diamond Present

Coleen Rooney was treated to a diamond jewellery Christmas present from her footballer husband, it has been reported.

According to the News of the World, Man Utd star Wayne Rooney bought his wife a £70,000 diamond-encrusted Rolex from an upmarket jewellers near their home in Cheshire.

However, Coleen also visited the same store and bought the 23-year-old sportsman an £80,000 Panerai watch as a Christmas present, unknown to him.

A friend told the newspaper: "They wanted to buy each other a special gift and thought it was symbolic they had the same idea for their first Christmas as a married couple."

The source also revealed that Coleen asked for white gold necklace that spells her name, which may interest fans of diamond pendants.

Earlier this week, the Samara James blog reported that US billionaire Jim Clark gave supermodel Kristy Hinze a diamond ring to announce their engagement to the world.
