An appeal is underway to find a woman's engagement ring, according to a source.
Jillian Anderson lost the jewel-encrusted band earlier this week, reports the Grantham Journal.
The bride-to-be is unsure where she misplaced the white gold item, which was designed by her husband Stuart, and she is said to be "distraught", it may interest owners of gold diamond rings to learn.
She told the news provider: "I'm devastated - the ring is irreplaceable because Stuart designed it himself and it was specially made to go with our wedding bands."
Ms Anderson went on to say that she finds little comfort in the fact that she will be able to cover the cost through an insurance claim, stating it is the sentimental value which matters to her.
In other news which may interest owners of platinum diamond rings, a $1 million (£680,000) reward is being offered by insurers for anyone able to locate the £74 million of jewels taken from an outlet in Paris last week.
