A new online tool has been set up to help men choose the correct jewellery for their partners.
GuysGuideToJewelry.com aims to aid the decision making involved with purchases of items such as platinum diamond rings and diamond necklaces.
A team of women, who are also responsible for thepassionatecollector.com, are behind the website.
Susan Shieldkret, owner of the e-commerce tool, commented she created the online utility as some men "feel lost" when it comes to buying items such as diamond bracelets and brilliant-cut diamond rings.
Ms Shieldkret added: "Our goal is to demystify the process and make jewellery gift buying a more relaxed, positive experience for men."
The website includes a section in which would-be-buyers can be educated about items, while another feature is the gift alert tool, allowing users to sign up for reminders when important dates are nearing.
In other news which may interest owners of gold diamond rings, it was recently revealed a 35.56-carat stone is set to go up for auction next month.
