Police are searching for a couple who stole a jewel-encrusted ring worth almost £7,000.
In news which may interest owners of gold and platinum diamond rings, the pair took the item from a high street jewellery outlet.
While a man distracted a shop assistant, his female accomplice pocketed the £6,950 1.54-carat white gold diamond ring.
Sussex police are now appealing for any information regarding the theft.
PC Alastair Batchelor said: "This couple were extremely calm throughout the incident and even spoke to the shop assistant after the theft had taken place."
The duo, who were filmed on CCTV taking the jewellery, told workers they would be back to buy items such as gold diamond rings after taking money out of the bank, but they did not return.
Elsewhere, police in Florida are searching for a man who stole a three-carat diamond ring worth around $11,000 (£7,000) from a Daytona Beach department store.
