Paris Set To Marry?

Rumours that Paris Hilton is set to marry are gathering pace, after she appeared wearing a ring on her engagement finger.

In news which may interest owners of platinum diamond rings, the heiress was spotted wearing a jewel-encrusted band while filming the Late Show with David Letterman.

The 27-year-old is currently in a relationship with Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden.

Ms Hilton, who was appearing on the show to promote her new film Repo! The Genetic Opera, commented during the television interview that she loved her beau, adding he is a "good guy".

The infamous socialite, who was jailed in 2007 after a string of driving violations, has previous appearances in movies such as Win a Date With Todd Hamilton and Zoolander and was seen shortly after the interview with Mr Madden at the premiere for her latest cinematic offering.

Earlier this week, actress Kate Bosworth was photographed at the 2008 Glamour Women of the Year Awards wearing diamond bracelets.
