Michelle Obama Wears Diamond Drop Earrings

Michelle Obama has continued her trend of wearing extravagant jewellery, according to reports.

The wife of Barrack Obama wore white gold diamond drop earrings as she appeared with her husband on election night.

Mrs Obama, who received praise from many writers within the fashion world after appearing in a Narciso Rodriguez dress, supported the president-elect while sporting the dangling items of jewellery, which are worth around $10,000 (£6,500).

The first lady-elect also wore several glittering bangles and has previously been spotted in other sparkling accessories such as a diamond brooch, an item which she was seen wearing during an interview with US talk-show host Jay Leno.

Elsewhere, numerous stars have been photographed wearing jewellery such as gold diamond rings, diamond necklaces and diamond bracelets in recent weeks.

Singers Sarah Harding and Kelly Osbourne, model Katie Price and actresses Mena Suvari, Kelly Brook and Lindsay Lohan have all been seen wearing sparkling accessories.
