Men 'embracing Diamond Jewellery'

An increasing number of men are bucking tradition by wearing gemstone-encrusted jewellery, it has been claimed.

MSN Lifestyle this week stated many are "getting in touch with their feminine side" by sporting items such as diamond stud earrings and gold diamond rings.

The article suggested a "why not?" attitude is currently present in society regarding men wearing glittering pieces that are normally seen on women.

According to the news provider the influx of metrosexual role models and the presence of "more macho" jewellery designs mean men are increasingly attracted to items such as watches and diamond bracelets, with the latter being pinpointed as possibly the most popular type of male bling.

The news source went on to say it is not just movie and sports stars that can get away with wearing diamond stud earrings any more, they can be a common accessory for men everywhere.
